Neonatology & Paediatrics

Looking after the health of you and your little one is our primary concern. Whether you need specialist medical support during your pregnancy or whether your little one needs extra medical attention after birth, we will help keep you and your child healthy and safe.

At our Level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and Special Care Baby Unit (SCBU), we provide expert care for newborn babies of all gestational ages, including pre-term babies with complex medical needs.

Our NICU has been designed in technical collaboration with some of the most respected neonatologists and gynaecologists in the UK, and follows international protocols for safety and hygiene.

The NICU beds are connected to a sophisticated central monitoring system that allows multiple caregivers to monitor your baby at all times. Isolation rooms within the NICU reduce the risk of cross-infection. We also admit babies born outside the hospital should they need more care.

It is managed by a team of full time neonatologists and supported by allied professionals including paediatric surgeons, cardiologists, neurologists, ophthalmologists, early interventionists and physiotherapists. Our NICU nurses are specifically trained and experienced to provide the highest quality of care. The entire team is trained to counsel and support you during and after your baby’s stay in the neonatal unit.

We also provide routine paediatric care including vaccinations, management of infectious diseases, advices on nutrition, growth, development and child behaviour.
